Our Associates get involved by spreading the word about the unique work of Fairygodmother Foundation and helping to generate attendance at various fundraising and social events. In addition, the Associate Board serves as a networking opportunity for young professionals. Mission StatementFairygodmother Foundation grants wishes to terminally ill adults. Foundation FactsEligible Recipients: Individuals 18 and older diagnosed with a year or less to live. Typical Recipient: A 40-year-old mother of two battling breast cancer and hoping to leave lasting memories for her children. Percent of Wishes Involving Children: 80% Age of Charity: Ten years Number of Wishes Fulfilled: Over 1000 in all 50 states Number of Full-Time Staff: Four Percentage of Funds Devoted Directly to Wish-Granting: 76% |
